Responsibilities

The Director of Environmental Services will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  1. Manage and supervise the Maintenance, housekeeping and laundry and floor care staff at the center according to policies and procedures, and federal/state requirements.
  2. Provides leadership, support and coordination to ensure the quality standards, inventory levels, safety guidelines and customer service expectations are met.
  3. Maintains records of income and expenditures, supplies, personnel and equipment.
  4. Training, quality control and in-servicing staff
  5. Assess work quality using QCIs for documentation purposes.

 

                          

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

  • Must have 5 years experience running housekeeping and maintenance  in a health care environment
  • Must have good communication skills
  • Must be able to manage budget for  housekeeping and maintenance
  • Must be able to trouble shoot minor maintenance issues
  • Some technical skill would be preferred
  • A minimum of a high school diploma/GED is required
  • Must be able to setup schedule and follow protocols
